This is my chosen assignment image for the 24 in 48 assignment. While it is not a stellar image I am happy with the composition. What I found particularly challenging was learning how to use my camera in full manual mode while trying to shoot my squirmy one-year old son. Conceptually the subject of young hands playing in dirt I find to be a timeless (archetypal) image.

Playing With Earth

I like your image a lot. Photos of kids are very fun to take, and they are always so real, because their kids. I think you have a good angle, and good lighting.
